Bringing heroin education into schools is next logical step toward combating epidemic

Pennsylvania has the third-highest number of heroin users in the country. It’s also “one of the worst for mortality” caused by heroin, Lancaster County District Attorney Craig Stedman has said. Young men, perhaps, fall prey to heroin most often. The Trust for America’s Health said more men ages 19 to 24 die from drug overdoses in the commonwealth than any state in the nation.
