Doctor: Absolutely no reason not to vaccinate

According to a study by the Trust for America’s Health, Missouri tied for 35th with a preschool MMR vaccination rate of 89.8 percent. Kansas ranked slightly lower, tying for 39th with a rate of 89.4 percent. Religious and medical reasons are the permissible exemptions from the vaccination requirement for Missouri public schools.

Recently, Missouri law added a permissible “parent/guardian” exemption to the vaccination requirements for day cares.
