State may label some schools 'unhealthy'

Around the country, people have become heavier and less healthy as they eat more and exercise less, according to Lisa McKinney, cardiovascular health promotion coordinator for the Northeast Health District that covers 10 counties in and around Athens. That's especially true in Georgia, where students are fatter and exercise less compared to students nationally, according to a 2007 study by the national nonprofit Trust for America's Health.
